MCYFL Cheerleading is a co-ed program focused on building fundamental cheerleading skills that progress through each division. We have three divisions: Pee Wee (2nd-4th grade), Junior (4th-6th grade), and Senior (6th-8th grade), with Junior and Senior teams allowing mascots in kindergarten and 1st grade. MCYFL does not allow high school students to cheer in our League.

All divisions allow a form of stunting, with Senior division stunting at around a Level 2. Senior level cheerleaders participate in a mandatory stunting camp each June, paid for by the League with instruction by Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) college-level cheerleaders. Tumbling is allowed up to a back handspring, but tumbling instruction is not offered by MCYFL at this time.

Pee Wee and Junior teams perform in an end-of-season exhibition, and Seniors will compete against other MCYFL Senior teams in one end-of-season competition.

Our program Directors bring a variety of skills and expertise, along with over 70 years of combined cheerleading experience. All Coaches are background checked and all Senior division cheer coaches are required to currently cheer at a high school level.
